Sunfire (AKA Shiro Yoshida) is a member of the X-Men and a playable character in X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse.
Biography[]
Born in Agarashima, Japan, Sunfire was taught by his uncle to hate the West and to return Japan back to its imperial days. After years of learning his mutant powers, he attacked the USA when the X-Men intervened. The battle came to an end with Sunfire killing his uncle and returning to Japan. Later when the original X-Men were captured by Krakoa, Shiro was recruited by Charles Xavier to aid him in rescuing them. He agreed to do so only because he was honor bound. After the mission, Sunfire left the team, but their paths would cross again. Most notably when the X-Men stopped Mosses Magnum's plan to destroy Japan with earthquakes.

In the game, Sunfire is a playable character.
Trivia[]
In Genosha's Great Hall before the team's fight with Abyss, Sunfire has a special dialogue with Pyro. In the Pyramid's Hall of the Dead (before the final showdown against Apocalypse), he also has a special dialogue with Living Monolith.
